Quality Control

Teye adheres to the unified railway product certification system established by the State Administration for Market Regulation and the National Railway Administration of China. Under this system, all railway products must obtain CRCC certification to be used by China National Railway.

Teye has successfully passed CRCC factory inspections and product sampling tests, meeting the stringent certification requirements. Additionally, the company undergoes annual supervision and audits, ensuring continued compliance with CRCC standards.

Currently, Teye holds CRCC certification for the following five products:

• Alloy steel frogs

• Complete switch sets

• Switch rails

• Stock rails

• Guard rails

These certifications not only affirm Teyes commitment to superior product quality but also highlight the companys technological leadership, standardized management practices, and excellence in railway switch manufacturing.

1.  Raw Material Inspection

Teye sources its rail raw materials exclusively from Panzhihua Iron and Steel Vanadium Co., Ltd. (a subsidiary of Panzhihua Steel Group) and Inner Mongolia Baotou Steel Union Co., Ltd. Both suppliers are on the qualified supplier list and provide a Product Quality Certificate for each batch of rails.

Upon arrival at the factory, all incoming rails undergo re-inspection in accordance with turnout inspection regulations. This includes verification of:

External dimensions

• Physical and chemical properties for each heat number

Only after passing the re-inspection are the rails stored for production use. Before manufacturing begins, each rail undergoes ultrasonic flaw detection, ensuring that only defect-free materials are transferred to the workshop.

2 Process Inspection

Teye implements a rigorous Three-Inspection” system, which consists of:

• Self-inspection (by the worker)

• Mutual inspection (peer review)

• Special inspection (by quality control specialists)

This system ensures 100% inspection frequency at each stage, preventing defective rail components from advancing to the next production process.

All process quality inspections are meticulously recorded, maintaining data accuracy and full traceability of quality information. For special processes, such as forging and heat treatment, Teye employs a combination of operational records, patrol inspections, and random inspections to monitor and control key process parameters, ensuring consistent product quality.

3  Finished Product Inspection

Upon completion of production, Teye conducts a comprehensive inspection of each turnouts:

• Appearance and dimensional accuracy

• Surface hardness

To detect both internal and external defects, non-destructive testing (NDT) methods such as ultrasonic testing (UT) and magnetic particle inspection (MPI) are applied. This ensures that all turnouts are free from processing defects.

Qualified products are marked according to regulations and a detailed inspection record is created to maintain full traceability. Any non-conforming products are immediately isolated for further analysis and corrective action, preventing defective turnouts from leaving the factory.
